Living Faith Ministries has linked with MWIMA Ministries International lead by Apostle Benjamin Mwima to assist him with planting a number of churches in Kampala, Uganda in 2008. 

Brother Benjamin was born and raised in Uganda. He met his wife Imelda in an underground church under the regime of Idi Amin. While a university student, Ben and his friends were arrested for boldly witnessing for Christ on the streets. When confronted about their “illegal” activities, Ben admitted what they were doing and implicated his friends as well. None were ashamed of the gospel of Jesus.

While in prison Benjamin’s faith and prayer life grew stronger. The Holy Spirit gave him step-by-step instructions each day that resulted in salvations in the prison. One of his prison jobs was to mop up the blood from the floors following the tortures and deaths invoked by Amin’s efficient work force. At one point Ben and one of his friends were instructed to rape a woman in front of the guards. They refused and instead witnessed to the guards. The woman would become Ben’s wife three years after their release!

Benjamin, Imelda and their children relocated to Kenya in 1995 in answer to the call of God and the church in Kenya to teach and train God’s people in intercession and prayer. Called as an apostolic and prophetic teacher, Ben has written several books and travels extensively teaching the issues of a serious prayer life.

Ben is a radical vessel for Jesus who is under the constant attack of the enemy. He understands true persecution and encourages the body of Christ to ask God for the ‘harder’ things of the Kingdom.

With Imelda, Benjamin has traveled extensively in the U.S. of America, Mexico, the UK, Holland, the Caribbean, Kuwait and many parts of Africa equipping the Church to be a prophetic praying army in prayer schools, seminars and conferences.

Ben and his family are planning to return to Uganda in May 2008 to establish a new base for their ministry to the nations with the launch of a new local church, Kingdom Life Church International.

Currently Dr. Ben Mwima runs The Global Harvest School Of The Prophets in an effort to Prepare a Prophetic People For the Day of The Lord.

We will be taking an apostolic short term mission team to Uganda in August 2008 to help launch these churches in Kampala.  For more information on this apostolic short term mission trip .
